Snow and Ice

Like most, I have been waiting for Spring, and eagerly looking forward to the new life it always brings.
Until then, here are some views of our area that I captured recently...

I know that the ice floating by will seem the same to some viewers, but it is constantly shifting and changing.  If one is observant the time of day might be guessed by the location of shadows falling on the stream...

The muskrat pond shows little sign of activity...

In the fields above the sheltered creek bottoms the wind creates snow swirls.  Perfect for indulging an overactive imagination...

Thanks for visiting, be well, and come back soon.
