Local Birds


I have been falling behind with making posts to the blog lately.  This post will be local birds like the Eastern bluebird shown above, and the Northern cardinals below...





A mourning dove basking in early morning sunshine...


This Canada goose is stretching before beginning its day in earnest...


A great blue heron is motionless...


Dark-eyed juncos are plentiful...


A tiny ruby-crowned kinglet...


Northern mockingbirds in different locations and light...



Sparrows are frequently seen...




And lastly, Carolina wrens seem to be in every clump of brush...
