New England Critter Search

As I write this we are still on he road.  We spent some time searching for moose or other wildlife in the Adirondacks, the Green, and the Berkshire Mountains.  We found lots of pretty scenery but little in the way of wildlife...

A reflection in a trout stream...

Before leaving New York we did see one pheasant...

The Green Mountains of Vermont were just as pretty but still devoid of wildlife...

I have dreamed of a log cabin that could only be reached by a swinging bridge...

I always enjoy people with a creative sense of humor...

Thanks for visiting, be well, and come back soon.

  1. First, glad you are back up on your feet, so to speak, and feeling better!

Second, I grew up in New England and found this post quite humorous. I hadly ever saw any critters when I was a kid. A deer was a rare treat. I moved to MD when I ventured out for college and recall being amazed at all the diverse wildlife seen in this state vs. the wildlife in MA (and NH, which I also frequented).

Good luck with your search. If anyone can find the critters, it's you!
