BEAVERS PREPARE FOR WINTER

I have been fortunate to watch a small beaver family storing food for the winter...

The next photo is an entrance to a bank...

Between the excavations of the beavers and the erosion of the creek bank this tree will soon fall...

Luckily for these beavers the landowners have a live and let live attitude about wildlife.  They forbid trapping on their property.
