Black Squirrels

Technically, these squirrels are "eastern grey" squirrels with a melanistic color mutation.  They are not extremely rare, but, in our area, they are uncommon enough to draw notice when spotted.  I am always looking for anything a little different to photograph so they suited me just fine...
