Colors Of Fall

I think most people associate colorful foliage with this time of year.  Combined with the cooler temperatures, lack of humidity and the smell of decaying leaves, this is a special time for those lucky enough to be outdoors to enjoy it...

In the early morning dew makes brilliant highlights on natures' forms...

I did not notice the spider on the leaf until I was looking at photos on my computer screen...

For the nearly 40 years that I have lived in Frederick County people have been visiting this spring head to gather drinking water.  On week ends it is not uncommon to see folks waiting in line for their turn to fill milk jugs and other containers...

Some of natures creatures are trying to take care of unfinished business before the "hard" frosts come...

I hope all of your winter chores are done on time.
