One More Post Before Christmas...

I thought I was done posting until after Christmas but yesterday, and this morning, provided so many photos I decided to post them today...

This group of deer was foraging in the frosty grass...



Later in the morning some individual deer came into the field to enjoy the sunshine...



Dogs in the distance caused this young doe to flee in alarm...


I changed locations and found some cooperative birds to photograph, including this Red-bellied Woodpecker...




Tufted Titmice and House Finches were feeding on the fruit of the Osage Orange tree...









Squirrels like the seeds inside the fruit as well...





And this White-breasted Nuthatch appeared just long enough to have its photo taken...


Yes, they do circumnavigate the tree by walking sideways, or even upside down...
