Mid-day Raccoon, Rocky or The Bandit?

I don't usually look for wildlife in the middle of the day but the mornings have not been productive lately so I went out today at 1:00 pm.  I found this young raccoon that was willing to pose for photos while he ate the remains of a great blue heron near the side of the road...








A nice cold drink of creek water finished his meal off nicely...
