Spring Migrants are Arriving

More birds are arriving every day, and their songs are a welcome chorus. Blue-gray gnatcatchers seem unusually prevalent in our area...

Finding a palm warbler was a first for me...

Red-eyed vireos are tiny and easy to overlook...

I photographed this indigo bunting in our yard...

The next warblers' name is not hard to guess...

When viewed from behind the yellow-rumped warbler is hard to mistake...

The overcast sky did not do the brilliant colors of the wood ducks justice...

Thanks for visiting, be well, and come back soon.

  1. Great photos! I've been listening and identifybirds thst way, although I have spotted a few nice ones. Just don't have a decent camera for photos.
