ODE TO NOVEMBER

November is one of my favorite months. Partly because of the colorful transition that happens in the forest...

The rut happens in November...

Does can be seen running around...

Often they are pursued by bucks like this exhausted young spike...

Larger bucks are also on the prowl...

It is a time to harvest...

And a time to prepare for winter...

This original cabin is available to hikers in Cunningham Falls State Park...

Wild turkeys are easier to spot in November...

Thanks for visiting, be well, and come back soon.
