What's In Your Back Yard?

I haven't checked on wildlife activity in the backyard for a while, so I took the cards from my yard cameras to see what might be on them.

There were some whitetail does passing through...

One was especially curious about the camera...

Talk about a selfie up close...

Because the rut is happening at this time it was not surprising to see a buck...

One buck made a scrape during daylight hours...

This groundhog made several appearances...

A small flock of turkeys...

This red fox was captured by the yard cam on multiple occasions...

I did not see any sign of the coyote that was in the yard in April...

Thanks for visiting, be well, and come back soon.

  1. Camera traps around the house give us a view into a world that we hardly knew existed. Some of our neighbors would be terrified if they knew we had black bears visit our yard on three different occasions this year.
