An Itch You Just Have To Scratch

When we first turned into a parking area in the Lamar Valley I thought this bison bull was just waiting to cross to the other side.  We stopped to allow him plenty of room to cross, but instead he began rubbing his head on the wooden rails...

Next he began rubbing an area near his left ribs...

With that itch satisfied he shifted to his right shoulder...

Finally, he attended to his right ribs...

That seemed to satisfy him for the time being. I think he had used this technique before.

Thanks for visiting, be well and remember to stop back often for updates.
