Sarah's Signal Mountain View, Number 5

I am finally getting a chance to catch up on posting some of Sarah's photos from Wyoming.  She has expanded her photography area to include Yellowstone National Park.  Here are some of the most recent ones that she shared with us.

Mount Moran, reflected in the Snake River at oxbow bend, is one of the most often photographed locations in the Rocky Mountains.  Each sunrise is unique and the view is always beautiful...

The breath from this bull elk is visible on a chilly morning...

A view of the Teton range...

One of the grizzly bear sows and cub that Sarah has photographed...

One of the hot springs in Yellowstone...

A young bison calf nursing...

The beautiful Hayden Valley of Yellowstone...

A grizzly bear, searching for food just out of hibernation...

The different colors around hot springs are the result of bacteria that thrive in water of different temperatures...

Another grizzly with cub digging for food...

View across the frozen Yellowstone Lake...

Another hungry grizzly bear...

Scene from the Grand Prismatic spring...

This young grizzly looks much like a woolly pig in his long winter coat...

A bison in the distance near a hot spring...

A grizzly feeding near willows...

A distant view of the Tetons...

And another of the Tetons at sunset...

Sarah at Old Faithful, one of the most visited landmarks in Yellowstone...

Tourists eagerly await the expected eruption...

There she blows...

Finally, the lobby of the Old Faithful Inn where thousands relax each year...

Thanks for visiting.  If you happen to visit Grand Teton National Park this summer stop into the gift shop at Signal Mountain Lodge and let Sarah know that you have seen her photos.

  1. Would love to go there. We will go to the US some day. US is a big country and we hade to stay at least 6 months to visit all places I want to visit.
Yellowstone is very on the top of the list for sure.
Tell Sarah she is great with the camera!
