Sarahs' Views From Signal Mountain

This post will share some of the photos that Sarah has made in her first week in Wyoming.

The first is a sunset view from Signal Mountain Lodge.  In the foreground is Jackson Lake, covered in ice, with the Grand Teton mountains in the background...

A bull moose is emerging from the willows near the Snake River in the next photo...

A common sight in Grand Teton National Park are elk...

The last photo is of a grizzly bear heading towards a growth of willows...

The willows are an important food source for beavers, elk, and moose.  Elk and moose often give birth in the willows and bears and wolves can frequently be found there hunting for the newborns.

I hope you are enjoying Sarahs' photos as much as I am.
