Piebald Button Buck

At this time of year it seems that wildlife subjects get harder and harder to find.  Yesterday I visited the Monocacy Battlefield and was rewarded with a few photos of the piebald button buck that lives there.  In the first photo he seems to be mesmerized by the Eastern Fox Squirrel in the foreground...

I am looking forward to next fall to see this fawn as an adult buck.
