When The Wildlife Doesn't Cooperate

Many times I am frustrated while hoping to find wildlife to photograph.  When that happens I appreciate the other forms that nature can take, like a setting sun over the Catoctin Mountains.

This blog post will highlight images other than critters.  Wildlife habitat on a frosty morning...

Barren trees receiving the morning sunlight...

Even the tiniest stream can produce interesting features...

One of the last blooms of summer...

A magnolia tree produced this interesting transformation over a span of a few days...

Old houses, with their mysterious histories, often catch my eye...

Milkweed in early winter...

A shallow puddle of rain water reflecting the sky...

Three crosses that can been seen all across America...

Thanks for visiting, be well, and come back soon.
