Trying to
photograph grizzly bears is largely a matter of patience….and luck. Even though we know the areas where two
grizzly families are often spotted, there is no guarantee of their presence
when one is visiting. Luckily we were in
the right place at the right time when Bear 399 and her two-year-old cubs made
an appearance at Dump Road…
The other
one was more interested in finding food…
It was
enjoyable to watch this family interact for a while. Most likely, 399 will kick her cubs out soon
so that she can mate again…
We
encountered this red-tailed hawk on Gros Ventre Road…
Thanks for visiting, be well, and come back soon.
