Creeks and Rivers and Ponds and Lakes

When trying to photograph wildlife, locations with water are usually my first choice. Some of the critters that I have seen include Beavers...

An Eastern Bluebird...

A bathing Blue Jay...

An eager buck pursuing a doe...

A Northern Cardinal...

With a friend either keeping watch, or waiting his turn...

This American Mink popped up with a freshly caught sunfish...

Two of my favorite birds, the Cedar Waxwing...

Whitetail Deer often come to drink...

The Red Fox is a less common visitor...

Great Blue Heron's demonstrate limitless patience while waiting for prey...

They strike with speed and accuracy when an unsuspecting victim gets within range...

Resistance is usually futile...

A group of Robins share a dip...

Muskrats are commonly seen...

As are European Starlings...

My favorite prize to date is the River Otter.  This is one that I found enjoying lunch...

Thanks for visiting, be well, and come back soon.

  2. Nice Images of the wildlife. Some of them, like the Red Fox, I never get the chance to see here. Deer are very common but again I never seem to get a chance to see them. Guess I'm just not at the right place and the right time. Beavers are not found in this area. They are up North further, such as in the Pocono Mt. area.

    Be Well.
