Mid-October Update

This update for mid October is bitter-sweet. I am posting, what will probably be, the last of the beautiful flowers from the Lily Pons Water Gardens until next year. The young bull frogs have been sunning themselves on the large pads, soaking up the autumn sun in anticipation of their hibernation that will begin soon.

I have found a new group of Red Fox to observe and photograph. Unfortunately, I have not found a way to get close enough to obtain the type of photos I would like. Whitetail deer are becoming more active as the rutting season nears. I am looking forward to photographing more bucks as they begin to travel in search of their own territory. Ground hogs are putting on weight to prepare for their long winter nap. Soon the eagles will return to Conowingo Dam and photo opportunities will abound for those willing to be patient. I hope that you find something to enjoy in this post and, as always, thanks for stopping by.

  1. I used the evening to go as deep as this into your blog. Do not know if it means anything, but I am very impressed. This is really a very beautiful blog.
    Beautiful photo work.
