Views In The Rearview Mirror

I was thinking about some of our earliest trips to the state where I was born and raised...West Virginia

The Canaan Valley is a beautiful area located in Tucker County...

Sunrise is a favorite time to be out. Heavy frost on the cattails will soon give way to the warmth of the sun.

This decaying tree is returning the  nutrients that gave it life to the forest floor.

A natural meadow surrounded by  fall colors.

At times, the colors are breath-taking.

The Blackwater River is a mountain stream near the headwaters.

Frosty ferns in the morning.

On our first visit to Yellowstone I photographed this coyote. At the time I thought it was a wolf. It is still my favorite coyote photo.

This tree is on edge of Big Meadows in Shenandoah National Park in Virginia.

Thanks for visiting, be well, and come back soon.
