The Promise Of Spring

Every year at about this time we grow restless. We are remembering past trips to the Greater Yellowstone area; and looking forward to visits as yet not taken.

If you have been to the area perhaps one of these images will trigger a memory. If you have not been there yet, I hope they will provide an incentive for you to go...

Not all black bears are "black". In the West, cinnamon colored black bears are common. Don't worry though, there will be plenty of black ones to see as well...

One does not have to travel to the Rocky Mountains to see black bears. They can be found in abundance in the East.  But, to see a grizzly bear, there is no better place than the Greater Yellowstone region...

In our uncertain society, I find comfort in returning to the natural world at every opportunity.

Thanks for visiting, be well, and come back soon.
