Flicker, Red-Bellied and Downy

Locating birds to photograph without the use of a feeder can sometimes be problematic, but sometimes it can seem easy.
Northern flickers are especially skittish so I was grateful to get these photos recently...

The tiny downy woodpecker is always moving...

This one was checking out an existing hole, possibly thinking of shelter for the night...

Enjoying a dip on a warm afternoon...

Red-bellied woodpeckers are common and usually cooperative...

Thanks for visiting, be well, and come back soon.
