Black Snake, Blue Grosbeak, Barn Swallows and Deer...

I found this doe traveling with several others this week…


On the same day I spotted this male Blue Grosbeak…


And these beautiful wild flowers...


A bright male Cardinal looks for food …


While a pair of Barn Swallows gathers mud for their nest…







This Black Rat Snake was crossing Green Field Road and stopped to enjoy the  warmth of the pavement...

    Nice Steve, Those swallows seemed quite busy. Hope the the road wasn't the final resting place for the black snake.
