Bald Eagles close to home...

Bald Eagles, the symbol of our nation, are becoming more and more common in Frederick County.  What a treat it was to find an active nest close to home,  and a landowner who would allow me access to take these photographs.  All of these photos were taken from a distance of 200 yards or more so they are heavily cropped.  Hopefully there will be better opportunities in the future.  In the meantime, enjoy these awesome birds…
