Eastern and Western Coyote Comparison 9/28/10

I have been taking photos of the coyotes located just South of Frederick for the past several weeks.  The following photographs provide a comparison of the eastern variety when compared to western coyotes in similar positions.  It is not known if the eastern specimens are coydogs (coyote/dog) hybrids or not.  They do appear to be suffering from the mange.
