The Barred Owl

The Barred Owl is one of the more common owls in our area.  Often heard in the early morning or at night, they have a distinctive call that sounds like "who, who cooks for you, all"...

Although not normally active during the day, they can be spotted if one is observant when visiting the areas where they live...

Remember to keep your eyes open when you hear the owl call.
