Red-tailed Hawk with Lunch To Go

 Today, around noon, I spotted a hawk in a field.  I was checking it out through my 80-400mm lens when it took flight.  To my surprise it had a young groundhog in the talons of one foot.  Here are the photos that I managed to get...






You just never know what you might see in the outdoors.
