Cedar Waxwings

These energetic and beautiful birds are common in our area but not easily seen.  That is, until the berries begin to ripen.  They are reliably drawn to this food source and the photographer who knows this, and has a little patience, can take photos of the feeding activity.  The following images were taken over a two day period...
