Cooper's Hawk



This morning I had a fortunate opportunity to photograph a fledgling Cooper's Hawk that was visible from the yard of my friend, and fellow photographer, John.  As I was driving past his house, John graciously invited me to set up my stool and photograph the nest site.  The first photo in this series is of a cooper's hawk that I photographed in 2010 as it was hunting in a hay field.  The rest were taken this morning and show a fledgling still in the nest...
